Find Your Lost Android Phone Or Stolen

Did you know that you can lock and erase your phone if your device is lost somewhere else and you can also make your phone ring we is on silent mode while looking for it?. For this purpose Google’s official Android Device Manager will help you do all the above i mention. But your device should be connected to the internet, or else you can’t find your phone. Now follow the steps below and find your lost android phone.

STEPS
Go to play.google.com on any internet browser on your computer to open google play store site.
Now at the right top click on sign-in button and login with your email id which you have used on your Android Phone to access Google Play Store



Then in the right corner you will be see a gear icon (settings) click on it and select Android Device Manager from the drop-down menu.

Now when you click on Android Device Manager a new window will open and you can see your device name.If you have attached the email with more devices then select the device which is lost.
Under the device you will see two options Ring and Lock & Erase.



Now click on Ring button and it will again ask for confirmation. Click again on Ring button and your device will start ringing for 5 minutes even if it is on silent mode.


Now your phone will start ringing on high volume then you will easily find your phone.

  1. Thanks for the tutorial. Would give it a trial now cause one of my friend android phone was stolen few days ago. Is it true that we can also use to imei to track the phone?
